Pre-Primary Diwali celebration at Waheguru Public School Pamal

Diwali is the festival of lights, which is celebrated in various regions across India. The name ‘Diwali’ literally means ‘an array of lights’.

To make the students understand the importance of Diwali, Waheguru Public School celebrated on October 22nd, 2022. Teachers explained the importance of Diwali: the festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair.

Students were also taught about Bandi Chhor Diwas. It commemorates the day the sixth Guru of Sikhs, Guru Hargobind Ji, released 52 kings from Gwalior Fort, who had been imprisoned by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir.

Nursery, S.K.G. and. J.K.G. classes of Waheguru Public School celebrated Diwali by doing Role play

Both teachers and students enjoyed the Diwali celebrations wholeheartedly.
